The Aim of Miss Congo UK and its relation to this events is to increase
the number and visibility of young/mature and exceptionally gifted
multi-cultural UK Fashion designers, models and performers from various
Olympic coutires. This is a great opportunity especially for those that
have not found or have been given the opportunity to showcase their
talents. Miss Congo UK also looks to encourage them to reach their true
potential by rewarding those who excelled both creatively and
academically with the opportunity of working with many significant
individuals and key role models. The night is also to celebrate the
diverse and unique culture London has to present to our Olympic visitors
and we also will be celebrating the close to Carnival.
Charity that will be fundraising on the night:
Congolese Family Centre (CFC) is the First Family Centre set up to
respond to the emotional and other urgent needs of the Congolese and
other French speaking African families living in the UK where English is
not their first language facing several barriers for their social
inclusion including culture, language, poverty, isolation and
incompatibility education background amongst many others.
CFC has a
vital role in bridging the gap in service between our targeted
communities and the service providers, to strengthening the
sustainability of the Congolese and other French speaking African
families.
The event will be packed with Exclusive fashion show
collections from designers from African Fashion Week (AFWL) and Live
P.A's. YOU WOULD NOT WANT TO MISS OUT ON SUCH AN EXTRAVANGANT EVENT!!!
