FIRST OFFICIAL SHOOT!!!

First shoot.

Anyone who knows me, knows I CANNOT hide excitement! When I'm proud or excited about something I have to showcase it, (not my best trait but, hey...) Here are some backstage images from our first official shoot. It was amazing, the makeup artist Nancy made us all look flawless, Kiyana (Kiyana wraps) gave us that element of tradition in her amazing head wraps. A huge thank you to the photographers for making us feel so comfortable and the great images! Thank to my manager Pauline for planning the day our CEO Frank and everyone who was there to help. I cannot wait to see the official pictures.

POSITIVE RUNWAY

Fab 3 are back!

I love getting together with the ladies to support an honorable cause. This week we were at the positive runway event which aims to raise awareness for the prevention and causes of HIV and AIDS. Although science and medicine has come a long way there are still many people dying because of this incurable disease. It's important for ALL of us to learn more about this disease, get tested and spread the word! The event went swimmingly well and we're grateful to have been a part of it.  Well done to 2nd RU Hyguette Muhima for walking in the catwalk show (go Getty!!) we're proud of you!x

SHADOWING VAVA TAMPA

Foreign and Commonwealth office

Had a great day shadowing Mr.Vava Tampa at the houses of commonwealth. We discussed the UN's progression with tackling rebel groups such as the FDLR, the upcoming elections and humanitarian aid for civilians caught in crossfire. Although we did not necessarily get the  answers we wanted, all progress is good progress and we're optimistic for the near future.

MISS CARIBBEAN UK.

FIRST SOLO EVENT
Organizing a pageant is NOT easy so a huge well done to the organizers at Miss Caribbean UK for putting together such a fantastic night. This was my first solo appearance since winning and I loved it. The people made me feel so welcome, the contestants were absolutely stunning, and it was great to meet other pageant Queens. Bring on the next one!

FIRST MEETING

GIRL POWER

First meeting with the girls!( After several attempts we finally took the selfie) We're so excited for the year ahead we're planning planning planning, can't wait to make our plans a reality.

HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT

3 IS THE MAGIC NUMBER

Less than a week after the final, the girls and I got given the amazing opportunity to participate in a round table discussion organized by CEO of SAVE THE CONGO Mr.Vava Tampa. We discussed and debated on many of the issues going on in the DRC. I was given the  chance to say the concluding remarks on the night. Although nervous I was honoured to speak in front of Lords and OBE's. It is an experience we all got to share and certainly won't be forgetting.
