First of all a HUGE congratulations to Yazmin for winning miss Sierra Leone UK 2015. I know the hard work that goes into winning such a contest so well done girl! NUESL were an amazing team and put together a fantastic event, the venue was packed and it was lovely to see everyone come and support the ladies. Community Event- Seeds of Hope screen and Q&A

Was such an honor to attend and be on the panel at the screening for seeds of hope. The feature film gives us an insight on the Masika center and the women and children living there. This film brought me to tears it was extremely moving. Thank you so much to director who also attended the event, thank you to Vava Tampa for organizing the screening and thank you to everyone who came to support the event.

Glam Africa 2015

Glam Africa was a spectacular event! Loved watching all the designers' collections and getting a chance to mingle and network with people at the event. Was lovely seeing the other Queens and King too. Once again thank you to Tina Lobondi for the dress and thank you to Miss Nigeria and Tina who both invited me to the event.x

COMMUNITY EVENT -LUMUMBA A Poetically Incorrect Life

Had such an amazing time at this spoken word event. Listening to all the writers really inspired me, such stunning creative and insightful poems. We also held a collection and raffle for the Masika center and raised a good amount. Thank you to everyone who dated and came out to support the event!

Je suis Kongo

I am sure you have all been aware of the situation in Congo, I don't want to get too deep in this discussion  but a certain someone is wanting to continue his 'leadership' in the Congo. This someone wishes to pros-pone the 2016 elections in order to carry out a census. My question is why now. We as a people and a nation are exhausted we refuse to be exploited for any longer! I stand with you DRC we ALL do.

Happy new year!

Happy 2015 everyone! I haven't posted in a while, but I'm back on it. Hop you've had a prosperous year so far. x
